Depending on the condition of the infection, the doctor might recommend the use of topical anti-fungus creams. The most common ones are terconazole, clotrimazole, miconazole and butoconazole. All of these topical medications are available in a variety of brand names.

Sometimes, doctors would recommend the use of oral medication instead of these external medications. The reason may be because oral medications are a lot more convenient especially for those who are always on the go.
